GREEN SMOOTHIE

 

I'm a vegetarian but I don't really like eating raw veggies...  and also don't snack on fruits often enough unless they're cut up for me. Like you know... when mom does it 👼. So, to ensure my body is getting the nutrients it needs (especially on busy days), I'll make this light & fresh green smoothie.

GREEN SMOOTHIE

COCONUT WATER - 2 cups
BABY SPINACH - 3 cups
MANGO - 1/2 cup
PINEAPPLE - 1/2 cup
BLUE BERRIES - 1/4 cup
RASPBERRIES - 1/4 cup
BLACKBERRIES - 1/4 cup
BANANA - 1 medium size
PEANUT BUTTER - 1 tablespoon

 

BLEND BLEND BLEND & HAPPY NOMM'ing !

 

Feel free to play around with the recipe depending on the produce you have in your fridge and decrease ingredient portions for less quantity - this particular recipe yields a little more than 32 ounces (which is a lot for some!).

You can also thin out the smoothie with:

  • Coconut water
  • OR Regular water — especially if you're avoiding the extra sugar and calories
  • Ice — to keep your smoothie cold
